It was the first month of internship and I am working in NCS. I felt very nervous and unsure about what to expect from the working environment and the tasks that would be given to me.

In the intern I work as an Desktop Engineer and what I do is basically formatting the laptop and send it out to different agencies.

During the first part of the month, I attended lessons to prepare myself for the internship. I was also given practical assignments and assessments that I had to complete and pass before being deployed to my team. Although I felt some pressure, completing the assignments gave me more confidence and helped me understand the basic knowledge needed for the internship.

After I was deployed, I felt confused and overwhelmed by the different tasks and workflow. There were many things that I was not familiar with, and I was not always sure how to approach certain tasks. However, I slowly learned by taking things step by step and asking for guidance from my senior colleagues and team leads whenever I needed help. With their guidance, I gradually became more familiar with the workflow and gained a better understanding of my responsibilities.

In the month of May it was mainly about the adjustments and learning. At first I started off feeling nervous and overwhelmed but throughout my journey I became more comfortable as I gained experience and learned from the people around me. This first month taught me that its actually okay to ask questions and seek guidance when I am unsure of a certain matter. I hope to become more confident and independent as my internship progresses.
