History Research Study

The topic our group chosen was Political Cartooning in Singapore. For a year, we conducted extensive research on political cartoons, reading through expert opinions and finally, crafting our methodology. Our group ran into many difficulties with the topic chosen as the number of reports we could find on this particular topic was little to none.

Through endless digging on the Internet and sifting through pages of books pertaining this topic, we were eventually able to craft a well thought out presentation. Crafting a suitable hypothesis also took some time as we had to ensure that the hypothesis could help us reach our aims without additional issues.

I worked primarily on the script for our presentation and I made sure to run the script through multiple checks for errors and proofreading it for mistakes. After multiple edits and revisions, we submitted the script on time and we were rewarded high grades for the success of our Research Study.

Through this Research Study, I have learnt how to search for information effectively and improved on my proofreading ability.

This Research Study has also taught me the importance of problem solving despite the glaring issues. Stay calm in the face of problems and deal with them swiftly to avoid the issue snowballing to something we can no longer manage.

Most importantly, this Research Study reaffirmed by belief of time management. to produce high quality work, sufficient time must be spent working on it without rushing so as to ensure that the work produced would be one we would be satisfied with.
