Learning the choreography from the early stages was a bumpy ride as it involved more stamina than I had that time and I was a new member.
As the dancers were mixed with both seniors and freshies, the chemistry and bond was not as strong hence we faced challenges such as some showing unwillingness, others being too shy to mingle with the "better dancers" as the CCA allowed students with or without dance background.
This division and lack of communication hindered our performance qualities in the studio and we got worried.
However, with this shared goal of wanting to do our best for the performance, the dance team had grown stronger together and unconciously bonded. Slowly but surely, we have come to understand each other as peers and accept them and ourselves into the team regardless of whether we are good dancers or not, because it was the joy of being able to share common interest and goals in dance.
Hence, through our resilience and patience, we managed to overcome social barriers and get closer to one another.
