Day 6 Reflection

Today was a relatively calm day where we didn't partake in any major activities or excursions like we've done throughout the week. After so many intense experiences, it was actually nice to have a more relaxed day to process everything we've seen. The main focus today was our group project where we had to discuss a problem that occurs in both Singapore and Bali.

My team and I decided to explore the issue of disabled needs in both countries. It was interesting to compare how differently these two places handle accessibility and support for people with disabilities. During our research and discussion, we identified several gaps in infrastructure, public awareness, and policy implementation that affect disabled individuals in both locations, though in different ways.

We spent most of the day working on finishing our PowerPoint slides and developing practical solutions to address these problems. Our group debated several approaches and tried to come up with ideas that would be realistic to implement while making a meaningful difference. It was challenging to narrow down our focus since the topic is quite broad, but I think we managed to identify some key areas where improvements could be made.

Even though today wasn't as exciting as visiting cultural sites or meeting local entrepreneurs, I found the collaborative process with my classmates valuable in its own way. It gave us time to reflect on everything we've learned during this trip and apply some of that knowledge to real-world problems. I'm looking forward to presenting our findings tomorrow and hearing what other groups have come up with as well.
