volunteering at an halloween event

i recently volunteered at a halloween event with my friends as we have just finished our promos and wanted to do something meaningful with our time.

when my friends and i reached there, we had to work with different people - schoolmates, other volunteers from different schools and adult volunteers. we were sociable enough to communicate and made friends with them.

i was in-charge of a slime making booth. to ensure i was well-prepared, i tried making slimes to test out the steps and ingredients to use. i also laid the materials out beforehand so the participants can start on the activity smoothly.

the booth quickly got full and there were a lot of participants so it got quite messy. however thankfully my friend and i were able to set up a system.

this activity helped me think on the spot and create a solution when things get hectic. it also allowed me to be more comfortable to socialise with people as i am an introvert.
