Reflection of Day 3

Today, I realized two important things.

First, while I’ve always believed that life is about money and progress, I’ve come to understand that some people deeply value their heritage and culture. For example, even in a modern, innovative country like SG, people still take pride in preserving the stories of their ancestors, like how they lived as fishermen. It shows how cultural roots remain important, no matter how far a nation or company progresses.

Secondly, I’ve learned that there’s no single right way to build a community. What really matters is creating a sense of belonging and purpose. Whether it’s a community formed for devotion, shared goals, or even extreme reasons like terrorism. As long as u have these elements of sense of belonging and purpose, it is what makes a group grow in numbers and become stronger.

These lessons reminded me that life is about more than just moving forward—it’s also about understanding what binds people together.
