Secondary School Interview Workshop

When I was in Secondary School last year, the school made us take part in a Interview Workshop to prepare for our EAE Interviews for our post secondary school institutions. I've learn people communication skills like being engaging with the interviewer and being able to talk with more confidence. Before attending this workshop, I was hesitant and lack the skills in engaging with conversations with the interviewer more professional as I have a short attention span. During the workshop the instructors assured me that it was okay to be nervous during an interview, which was what gave me confidence to overcome that fear. We learned various skills during the workshop, like planning and summarising our points that we are presenting to the interviewer. And constructing a good portfolio that reflects our strong trades and past experiences or workshops that we took part in. We also learned about having a good image when presenting to the interviewer, like maintaining eye contact, having good body posture and dressing professionally. After the workshop we received a certificate for our participation, but most importantly the skills that we have learned from the workshop.
