volunteering with Just Keep Thinking!

Just Keep Thinking is a channel that focuses on breaking down scientific topics into easy-to-digest formats. they are also huge advocates for environmental sustainability and wildlife, marking them as an inspiration for many young ones.

i started volunteering with them for their eco-quest workshops held at community clubs, a free event mainly for children to come in and learn about a specific topic and participate in a hands-on activity linked to the topic. for instance, the marine wildlife ones focus on showcasing different marine animals, some of which they have the specimen for the kids to view and touch them upclose! my main job is to crowd control, distribute logistics for the hands-on activity and facilitate the specimen stations.

i've been a huge fan of them since they started and it's really cool to work for them and see how much effort they put into each workshop and i still manage to learn something new for everyone workshop i've volunteered at.
