How gaming can be beneficial too?

Some of the people may not agree with me but gaming has gave me a bigger social life.

When i first found out about different popular games such as Fortnite , valorant, roblox or League of Legends, i wasn't interested and found it a waste of time. However, during secondary school , i didn't made much friends as everyone has their own cliques and i do not wish to intrude in their spaces.

Till one day , my sister have been constantly asking me to play video games with her as she wanted more people to play with.I decided to give a try and kept dying in game.I found it useless and stopped. But during the holiday i was bored so i decided to give it another go and there were people using their in game mics and chatting.From there, i talked to more people and watched more streamers that plays valorant.

Social media like tiktok made me found the friend group i thought i never needed.The tiktok post was finding singaporeans who also play valorant and i went ahead to join to make more friends online to play with. They were all friendly and with full of humor .Everyday i look forward to going home and playing with them as i always have people to talk too , they also became my close and trusted friend who would listen to my problems and taught me on my studies.They gave me many advice on how to score better, study better and different studying methods. Throughout the ups and downs, they were always there for me and distracting me from all my stress.

Although online might not be trustable however, not all online people are bad and i personally found myself really lucky on meeting people who are nice.By having this friendgroup , it made me discover the different personalities i have , helped me gain confidence and grow bigger as a person in values .
