My project portfolio

Introduction

This project was about Saving energy. The main goal of our project was to help people who wants to save energy/power outages during natural disaster. We chose this project because some people don’t have a choice and can’t see anything at night during emergencies and we hoped that our project could help people who needs light at night people, people during emergencies, people trying to save money.

The Process

We started by researching and planning our project. After that, we discussed our ideas and decided on the materials and methods we needed. We then created and tested our project. During the process, we made several improvements based on the problems we encountered and the results of our testing.

Skills & Takeaways

Through this project, I learned several new skills, such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving and time management. I also learned how important it is to plan carefully, listen to my teammates and make improvements when something does not work.

Challenges

One challenge we faced was we had limited amount of time to prepare everything. At first, we had difficulty solving it, but we worked together to identify the cause. We eventually overcame the problem by communicating and giving out tasks that me and my teammate are good at to complete it faster. This taught me to be patient and adaptable when facing difficulties.

Conclusion

Overall, this project was a valuable learning experience. It allowed me to apply what I learned in class while improving my practical and teamwork skills. If I were to do this project again, I would start much earlier planned out of when to do what is needed and task my teammate to what they are good at. I hope to use the skills I gained from this project in future projects and my studies.
