As an ‘Irregular,’ I’ve shifted from rural development to Inclusive and Responsible Business, believing that to create meaningful change, we must tackle social issues at both empowering local communities in grassroots level and holding private sectors accountable for their Human Rights Violations.
This shift is critical because it’s about creating sustainable change not just empowering and advocating local communities at the grassroots level but also by influencing corporate behavior, ensuring that businesses respect human rights, and providing remedies for those affected by corporate actions.
With 5 years of leadership and communications strategist experience and a Bachelor’s in International Law, I’ve led numerous campaigns, including initiating student movements and youth consolidations like #ReformasiDikorupsi and #MosiTidakPercaya when I served as Chairman of the Student Representative Board at Pancasila University. Beyond that I have also worked with numerous Civil Society Organizations spearheading campaigns raising the voice of marginalized groups such as farmers, indigenous peoples, labours and youths movements.
This experience solidified my passion for advocacy, combining legal knowledge, effective communications strategies with youth-driven action to challenge unjust systems.
Our futures are deeply interconnected, and solving issues like corporate accountability and rural development requires thinking beyond borders. By fostering cross-cultural collaboration and equipping youth with leadership skills, we can drive the changes needed for a more inclusive and responsible ASEAN region. 🌏🤝
